Incredibly, the biggest predictor of global riots might be the weather.
It's incredible that a cow farting in Iowa can cause the collapse of the government in Egypt.
Global warming->droughts->rising food prices->riots.
And how unfortunate that so much more money is spent on the symptoms (defense,surveillance,censorship) rather than the root cause.
